El ciclo de la vida y su origen son esta vez la fuente de inspiración de la colección. Un viaje a través de las edades de la mujer, desde su origen y nacimiento hasta su madurez, su vejez y finalmente su muerte. La transformación y la metamorfosis son mostradas como la base de la vida. Cada estilismo representa un momento de ese ciclo. De este modo, el proceso comienza con el origen del universo y las estrellas. Continúa con la aparición de la naturaleza y la vida en una pieza biodegradable hecha con flores, hojas, plantas carnívoras, castañas, setas, estalactitas... En este mismo vestido también nace la vida ya que una planta crece en él. Es una pieza construida bajo la premisa autoimpuesta de confeccionar un vestido con materiales cotidianos y sin usar la tecnología. Un ejemplo de zero waste. Otros estilismos llevan volúmenes hechos con bolsas de aire o botellas antiguas que contienen líquidos y semillas. De esta manera, tres de los cuatro elementos naturales aparecen en la colección. Todos estos estilismos pertenecen a la primera parte de la serie: el origen y la gestación.
En una segunda parte, a través de diferentes tejidos, colores y estampados, las prendas se estructuran, el caos desaparece y el orden comienza a modelarlo todo. Al mismo tiempo el cuerpo se descubre, los vestidos llevan aberturas que dejan ver la piel y formas que se ensanchan en las caderas. Finalmente, en la vejez, inspirada por los cabinets of curiosities interpretados de una manera un tanto kitsch y excéntrica, es representada con prendas cubiertas con toda clase de objetos cotidianos, figuritas, tapetes de ganchillo antiguos y recuerdos de familia.
La última parte de la colección se basa en la mitologia griega y el mito de Caronte en el penúltimo estilismo. Al final, un velo cubre el rostro y una coraza de arcilla, musgo y cemento cubre el pecho mientras corteza de madera y enredadera trepan por las piernas haciendo crecer de nuevo la vida, cerrando el círculo y llevando la colección al principio.
The origin and life cycle are this time the source of inspiration for this new collection. A journey through the ages of woman, from the origin and birth to maturity, old age and finally death. The senses and sensuality are claimed in the garments like the home, daily life and nature, which become a kind of shelter or protective armor in a world in which transformation and metamorphosis are the basis of life. Each look represents a moment of this journey. Thus the process begins through the origin of the universe and the stars and continues with the appearance of nature and life in a biodegradable piece made of flowers, leaves, carnivorous plants, chestnuts, mushrooms, stalactites... On the same dress also life is born because a plant grows on it. This is a piece made under the self-imposed premise of building a dress with everyday materials and without using technology. An example of zero waste. Other looks contain volumes made with air bags or antique bottles full of liquids and seeds. This way, three of the four natural elements appear on the garments, small collections of natural history. All these looks belong to the first part of the collection: The origin and the gestation.
In a second part, using different fabrics, colors and patterns, garments are structured, chaos disappears and the order begins to shape it all. Culture start to form the individual while decay, eccentricity and somewhat dark sense of humor appear. At the same time, the body is discovered, the dresses are opened revealing the skin and the hips widen. The old age, inspired by antique cabinets of curiosities and interpreted in a kitsch and eccentric way, is represented with garments covered with all sort of daily objects, figures, old crochet tablecloths and family heirlooms. All these items are presented as the metaphor of a personal diary, a collection of memories. The final part of the collection is based on Greek mythology and the figure of Charon on the penultimate look. In the end, a veil cover the face and a breastplate of clay, cement and moss cover the chest while bark and ivy climb up the legs making life growing again, closing the circle and taking the collection to the origin.
